Like I posted a few weeks ago I am pregnant. I spent 7.5 hours in the hospital on Saturday just to make sure I was ok. Saturday morning I woke up with spotting, it continued throughout the day, so in the afternoon my mom took to the hospital to be safe. It didn't help that I had mild cramps too. I'd normally get my period at the beginning of the month. So at the hospital they took blood, did a ultrasound, and took more blood. My results were I had to infections, the baby was fine and the doc could see the heartbeat, I also found out that I'm O+ blood type.
I start my new job on the 15th of July. I'm very excited about it. It's been 5 years since I worked, but I know it's a part of my new life now. I currently live with my mom, so she can dog sit for me while I'm at work. Having a job will help me save for when baby gets here. I also want to save for a vehicle for me while I'm here.
I go for my prenatal blood work on Thursday. I was suppose to be tomorrow but that's all the way up in Kitchener. My old family doctor from 10 years ago took me back as a patient once she found out I was pregnant. Now it's closer, the doctors office is in Kingston. So I'm excited and nervous about that first appointment. I'm 8.5 weeks pregnant.
Well I guess that's all for now.
This blog is all about what interests me, excites me, baffles me, shocks me, stuns me, and encapsulates me. Basically like the title says its a place to house my curiosities.

Absent again, I know I'm horrible
Well I have some news to share even though I shouldn't yet, but I can't keep it to myself. Two weeks ago today I had a positive pregnancy. I went to the clinic and they confirmed that yes I am indeed pregnant. I'm not positive on how far along I am but I'm at least 6 weeks today it may even be 10 weeks. I have to call and book my first prenatal visit the first week of July.
Just wanted to share.

Pretty close to a year . . .
Hi Everybody,
It's been pretty close to a year since I actually posted here. It's a overcast sky day today, they are calling for thunderstorms again here today. It's heart breaking to hear and see the damage left by the tornado that struck Moore, OK. It's scary knowing that when on the road Hubby and I go threw there quite often. We have been on the outskirts of tornadoes before and that was bad enough. We have also been on the out skirts of hurricanes before. It's magnificent the power that mother nature has. There is no rhyme or reason to what gets demolished and what is left standing. My heart goes out to everyone in Oklahoma that has to start over and that is grieving the loss of loved ones.
On a more positive note Hubby and I have been enjoying so time off work. We went to the drive-in on Sunday night. It was a long weekend so they had an all nighter. The movies started at 9pm and ended about 5:30am. It was a lot of fun and I look forward to going again. We watching Star Trek: Into the Darkness, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Pain & Gain and Hansel and Gretal: Witch Hunters. I enjoyed 3 out of 4 movies. The best part of Pain & Gain was the Rock and Marky Mark. I'm waiting to see what's playing there this weekend. Hoping the list goes up tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a good day.
