A Fresh Start

It's been a long time in the making but I'm finally back on track. It's time to make a fresh start.

In February our dog Anastasia passed away in my arms after fighting for over a week to get better. It hit my husband and I really hard. Three weeks later we resqued an abandoned dog in Houston. I would have loved to have kept him but because he was a intact male Axle viewed him as a threat and after having him for a month Axle starting fighting with the little guy. So we took the new guy to the Humane Society where he has been adopted by a new family. I'm happy he has found a good home but I miss the little guy. I really got attached to him.

Randy and I had planned to get married in July but decided in May that we'd just elope instead. So on May 7th we did, we had a small ceremony with 3 witnesses and the grand baby. I figure maybe on our anniversary we can have a party to celebrate.

On June 1st I celebrated my 29th birthday. Randy got me another dog. We adopted her because she reminds us of Oxie and Annie. They figure she is 5 months old. She is fitting into our family nicely and we are seeing an improvement in Axle. The loss of his sister hit him hard too.

Another one of my gifts was getting the new Android phone for using in the States. Which is how I'm blogging right now. With being able to get all the apps again I'm wondering why I even switched to a Blackberry in Canada.

On a side note after seeing the pics we got done for our wedding I am disgusted with myself. Enough is enough already, I'm sick of how I look and feel. I'm 5 feet tall my body is not ment to carry around 200+ pounds. I have decided to get healthy and lose weight. I downloaded some apps to help me and I always have my good friend @sweetmarie83 to encourage me and keep me motivated.

Thanks for stopping by and getting somewhat caught up. I promise with the new phone and the blogger app I'll be blogging a lot more often. Bare with me while my touch screen typing improves as does my app blogging.
